National Sevens – after day 2

Women’s Division One – With 2 rounds to play, Mairangi Bay & Birkenhead are both on 27 points, followed closely by Browns Bay on 24 points. With 2 rounds to play, and the three sides above all having byes this section is wide open as to who will be the winner of Division One.

Men’s Division One – With 4 rounds to play, Browns Bay have a 9 shot lead over Orewa, closely followed by Riverhead. As this is just over the half way stage, anything can happen in this section!

Women’s Division Two – Takapuna are leading on 30 points with one round to be played, followed by Browns Bay on 22 points. Neither of these two sides play each other in the last round so it all depends on their opponents as to what will happen.

Men’s Division Two – The top 2 in each section are – 2A Birkenhead, Browns Bay Gold, 2B Milford, Sunnybrae & 2C Mairangi Bay 3, Manly Blue. Next 2 best Sides overall – Orewa Rabbitons, Mairangi Bay 2. A random draw will be done at Browns Bay next Saturday 11 November at 8:30am

As there are now more sides needing to play next weekend, confirmation of venues will be emailed to all Clubs and posted on the Website by noon Tuesday 7th November

Once again, thank you to all Host Clubs, Greenkeepers & Volunteers, and to the Umpires, at least today was far better weather wise than yesterday.
