PPL – last 3 rounds of Qualifying & Finals Day Confirmation
It was confirmed at the BNH Board Meeting on Friday that due to only having played 4 qualifying games of the popular PPL evening event and now that daylight saving has ended, the last 3 rounds of qualifying for PPL will now be played on Wednesday 25th April (ANZAC Day) at 1pm at the following Host Clubs –
Bowls Orewa (hosting Warkworth, Manly & Browns Bay)
Helensville (hosting Riverhead)
Takapuna (hosting Belmont, Milford & Mairangi Bay)
Birkenhead (hosting Beach Haven, Sunnybrae, Northcote & Glenfield)
Start Time 1pm
Play 3 rounds – players to play in the same pairs colour as previously played (where possible)
Host Club to provide a BBQ afterwards
PPL finals date – Saturday 12 May (this is also a Centre date for 1-5 year Junior Interclub winners playing regional finals at Hikurangi)
Where – Bowls Orewa
Start Time – 11am
Reporting Time 10:30am for Random Draw
For Zones 1, 3 & 4 the Top two Club sides and for Zone 2 the top Club side will play in the finals day.
Players who are not available can be substituted with equal or lesser ability players. Please email the centre office if players are changed.
Band will playing at the Club throughout the day
Refreshments & Prize giving will be held at the conclusion of play.
