The New Zealand Ultimate Bowls Championship Qualifying event is back for its second year at the New Lynn Bowling Club in Auckland.

5 ends only. 3-bowl pairs.

1st shot = 10 points

2nd shot = 5 points

3rd shot = 3 points

Any toucher = 3 points

Leads’ shot = 3 points

The Ultimate Bowls Championship (UBC) is the Premier International Lawn Bowls Event. The next Championship is being hosted at the magnificent Moama Bowling Club in NSW, Australia in December 2022. The Championship has a whopping $500,000 prizepool with teams travelling from USA, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia. The world’s best players are all signed to teams- Alex Marshall (Scotland), Aaron Teys (Aus), Kelsey Cottrell (Aus), Loren Dion (USA) and so on…. With a plethora of free-to-air TV, subscription TV and livestreaming secured worldwide these events are like no other.

Our matches are fast, high-scoring and exciting. Our custom UBC software is too. We are the world leaders in Lawn Bowls software and continue to innovate to remain at the forefront of our field (nothing like a bit of kiwi ingenuity to lead the way!).

Have you got what it takes? The UBC is offering Kiwis this a once in a lifetime opportunity. Win the Qualifying Event at New Lynn Bowling Club 21-22 May and you will travel to Australia and compete in one of the three events comprising Ultimate Week December 2022.

The New Lynn Qualifying event:

  • UBC format and software in play.
  • Team and individual performance stats on demand.
  • Livestreaming of one match of EVERY round played and all finals.
  • Teams of three. Pairs event. Each player must play a minimum number of matches.
  • $390 per team entry fee.

The winning team will travel to Moama, NSW, with;

  • Accommodation, lunches, dinners, use of pool bowls, uniforms
  • $1650 prizemoney to assist with flights
  • Competition against the world’s best players on the world’s biggest bowls stage
  • Players’ share of any prizemoney won by the team in Australia
