BNH Interclub 7’s – Conditions of Play & Draws
Attached are the links to the Bowls North Harbour Interclub 7’s Mens Division 1, Men’s Division 2 and Women’s Division 1.
While we thought that having 2 divisions in the Womens event it would attract more entries and participation, this was not the case and there were not enough entries to have a meaningful competition. The other factor in deciding to not run the Women’s Division 2 competition was that, with the nature of this competition, it requires a large number of greens and they were proving difficult to come by. The conditions of entry allowed the Match Committee to balance the competition and with just the one team per club permitted into Division 1, the Womens Division 1 has 8 entries. We regret that the entry of two teams into the Women’s division 2 was denied.
The structure of the competitions is:
Women’s Interclub 7’s Division 1
2 sections of 4 teams
Saturday 2 March – Section 1 at Browns Bay and Section 2 at Mairangi Bay playing round robin, three games.
Sunday 3 March – post section round robin of three games between the top 2 qualifiers in each of the two sections.
Reserve day for the Women’s competition is Saturday 9 March.
Men’s Interclub 7’s Division 1
1 section of 10 teams
Saturday 2 March, Sunday 3 March & Saturday 9 March.
Round robin over 3 days – all play at Browns Bay
Reserve day is Sunday 10 March.

2 sections of 6 teams.
Saturday 2 March
section 1 at Birkenhead
section 2 at Takapuna
3 games of round robin
Sunday 3 March
Section 1 at Takapuna
Section 2 at Birkenhead
3 games of round robin
Saturday 9 March
Top two teams from each section play 3 game round robin at Birkenhead.
Reserve day for the Men’s competition is Sunday 10 March 2024.
