Acknowledgement of Premier 2 Rep Team

Congratulations on a very solid and successful  Premier two  representative season .

The outcomes of the three series, ( October quadrangular, December Battle of the Bridge, March quadrangular),  illustrate the depth of talent we are building in North Harbour.

We want to compliment you on your personal and team values as well.  This is such an important ingredient for every successful team.

You can be very proud of your contribution to the overall success in the Battle of the Bridge, as your results, especially in the singles got North Harbour across the line overall.

A few years ago we did not have depth in the women’s game at representative level, but we now have 18-20 players capable of playing at the Premier one level in the Centre.

As selectors we have tried to have continuity in selections, which we hope gives you as a player the confidence you will be selected

This years Premier 2 side has put real pressure on selection options for our Inter Centre team and this is healthy.

Many of you have now played a number of representative series and both feel comfortable in this environment, and achieve in this environment.   Your results show that.

We are very satisfied as a management group with your season, and it reflects well on you, when we continually hear from other Centres, how well our teams are presented, how friendly and unified  they are, and how well they play.

Well done on a great season .

Its such a pity that 18 does not fit into 7 !
