Thrilling Weekend of Bowls Crowns Bowls North Harbour Champion of Champion Fours Winners
It was an action-packed weekend of high-caliber lawn bowls as the region’s top club teams went head-to-head in the Bowls North Harbour Champion of Champion Fours, played over the weekend of 23 and 24 May 2026.
Saturday Qualifying: The Fields Whittled Down
The tournament opened on Saturday with fields split across two local clubs to find our final knockout contenders:
• Women’s Section: Qualifying rounds were hosted at the picturesque Waimauku Bowling Club, featuring highly competitive, close encounters.
• Men’s Section: The men’s qualifying fields battled it out at Helensville Bowling Club, where excellent playing surface led to nail-biting, tactical finishes.
Super Sunday: High Stakes at Bowls Orewa
On Sunday, the competition shifted to the top-tier covered facilities at Bowls Orewa. The roof ensured that the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals for both men and women were played at the highest standard, completely uninterrupted by the elements.
