Elite Fields Battled for Glory at BNH Champion of Champion Triples – 16th & 17 May 2026

  • May 18, 2026

The build up towards the business end of the Bowls North Harbour playing calendar delivered high-stakes drama over the weekend of 16 & 17 May 2026, as the region’s premier club combinations clashed in the BNH Champion of Champion Triples.

With 13 elite women’s teams and 15 powerhouse men’s fields taking the greens, there was absolutely no room for a slow start. The strict knockout format—2 bowls per player over a full 18 ends—guaranteed intense, razor-thin margins from the very first delivery.

Saturday Sparks Action at Manly

With the autumn weather playing its part, Manly Bowling Club served as the host venue for Saturday’s grueling qualification rounds. Under the direction of the event management team, the pristine greens offered true lines, providing a fitting platform for club champions to display their finest work. Fierce tactical battles thinned the fields efficiently, paving the way for a blockbuster lineup heading into Sunday’s post-section play.

Sunday Showdowns at Bowls Orewa

On Sunday morning, the surviving elite shifted camp to Bowls Orewa, where the stakes reached their peak. The remaining contenders navigated a rapid-fire sequence of Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Grand Finals in front of a fantastic, supportive crowd.
