Bowls North Harbour Men & Women Fours
These events for the men’s and women’s fours have been published for the weekend of 21/22 November. At the time of setting our calendar of events we were unaware of the scheduling by Bowls New Zealand to host the Oceania event at Bowls Orewa for that same weekend.
It is only recently that the conflict of this event has been brought to the Board’s attention. The decision made by the Board is to move the BNH men’s and women’s fours events to the following weekend of the 28/29 November.
We are fully aware of the impact this could have on club programmes which presumably your club may have set for that weekend 28/29 November and would respectfully suggest your club considers reversing those events to play them on the weekend of 21/22 November.
The Board regrets having to make this change in the programme at this late stage which has been brought about by the late identification of Bowls New Zealand scheduling events over and above our centre programme without our knowledge.
